More than just running

ELlie Hall

Co-Founder of the Charleston Run Club - The idea was born out of the changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. As more people found themselves working from home and losing their traditional "third spaces" like churches or social clubs, Ellie saw an opportunity to create a new community hub centered around health and wellness.

Drawing on her lifelong passion for running, Ellie launched Run Club in Charleston as a way for like-minded individuals to come together in person, rather than just connecting virtually or through drinking-focused social activities.

Since its inception, Ellie's Run Club has grown to include 500+ members. Looking to the future, Ellie and her co-founders plan to take the community to the next level by implementing a membership-based platform to allow for more structured communication, events, and offer perks like discounts and exclusive content. As the model continues to evolve, Ellie hopes to potentially expand Run Club to other cities, providing people across the country with the authentic, in-person community that became so vital during the isolating days of the pandemic.

In March of 2021, Joe signed to LAW Records and released his single “Beef,” capturing the deep-rooted reggae influences coupled with his brand of up-beat feel good reggae, rock and ska. His full length sophomore album “Far From Forever” is out now! Check it out here.

Fitness Advice:

Just start. Start when you aren’t ready. Do it imperfect. But keep showing up. Consistency is everything when making a lifestyle change. And that’s what fitness is. It’s a lifestyle.
